Waning Crescent Moon Days 46 Hidden Villa Alice and Miu were absent today. The sky was cloudy and the Weather Reports told us it was going to rain during the day. However, it just never did! We watched the sky throughout the day and noticed how the color and shape of the clouds changed and the color of the sky changed but no rain ever fell upon our heads. We put our counting and weather stick up in the air to see what the feather would do and he was being blown rather strongly. We made guesses as to when we thought it might rain and, by late afternoon there was some rain fall but not while we were all together. The day was quite beautiful and beautiful...

Waxing Crescent Moon Day 41 Stevens Creek Open Space Preserve All were here today on this glorious spring like day. Even though the need for Rain is grand, the pleasure of the Sun was still wonderful. There was much play before getting in the bus. Jill became some sort of monster being chased and while she was doing that I was in the Bus with Miu, Giselle and Aoife as they sprayed and learned how to spray with the four new and refilled spray bottles of different scents that I brought. Waning Crescent Moon Day 38 Martins Creek Today was Miu’s Five year old Birthday! She was very happy for this day and very much wanted to go to Martin’s Creek where her Father came on the first day of Tender Tracks. The day was warm enough so it was fine to go to this place that is at least 10 degrees colder due to being under the Redwood’s. We did our usual singing before we left and counting. Paul really loves to count on the counting string and others make good use of their counting strings by making them into leashes for their stuffed animals! Wanning Gibbeous Moon Day 19 Wunderlich Park All the children were alive and present with vitality which was a bit surprising since half of them were coughing and coughing all day long. Harper was alive, funny, fiesty and sweet playing and exploring all day. Julian: He was happy, thoughtful and really liked having his rain suit and warm clothes on. He invited Miska to play with him on and off and was so curious about watching a Banana slug eat. I gave a Banana slug a bit of grap and he really liked watching this. Waning Gibbeous Moon Day 36 Wunderlich Park All were here and the weather was warm and delightful. Since I did not have my computer I wrote notes down when I got home and here they are: Alice: struggling with Evan yet able to let go and make healthy self supportive choices around her interactions with him. She was very sensitive to being called a baby, liar or making up her stories and had tears on off easily with all the children. By days end this subsided. She loves, loves! playing Mom and did a lot of that throughout the day. She also loved taking her shoes offf and going into the water. At the end of the day she made a great connection with Taz. Full Moon Foothill Park Day 24 Alice was absent today. Taz, our brand new member to Tender Tracks, arrived today and without a hitch. Kaden was clearly so very happy to have his dear friend there and this was a true joy to see this side of him. The children just jumped into the bus and were ready to go. We passed out our stuffed animals and off we went. There was still some volume control in the bus needed yet they found it within themselves, with support, to find the volume that worked for the whole.
