Waning Moon Lake Lagunitas What a glorious day. Everyone was here today and there was more unity then ever. The boys played together beautifully. About a month or more ago Leo and Bodhi bonded and Lenny felt left out. Then Leo was gone and Lenny and Bodhi bonded. Now Leo is back from a few absences and the three of them all played with each other beautifully. It is so wonderful to bring them back to the same place and hear them instantly recap past experiences, check things out to see if they are the same or different and discover new terrain. Waxing Moon Lake Lagunitas Leo was home sick today. They were all in happy spirits and ready for the days unfoldment. Today was the day to see if the Iris’s we gathered from last week that I soaked all week would make some good paint. I brought out the brick that Lenny brought to Tender Tracks a couple of weeks ago along with a stone Mortar and Pestle. The brick had to be thrown hard onto some stones in order to break into smaller pieces to pound. That was fun for all to try and throw the brick hard enough to break. Last Quarter Moon Lake Lagunitas All were here and the weather was filled with dark clouds and rain gently falling throughout the day. They began by taking their time with getting just the right stuffed animal, the soft rabbit furs and just the right book. Each child chose one or two of the above mentioned. We sang our welcoming song and freely, the rain songs that have been hard to sing the past two months. But now, we can and did sing them with GUSTO! Then, we made our way to the adventure of the day. Waxing half Moon Lake Lagunitas Leo was sick today. It was another sweet day. The children were ready and they started the day singing our welcoming song and the rain song. This has been long coming and I do believe Wohe was the one who won their voices over with sharing his all these past weeks! Simone was the first to request the beloved Rabbit furs to hold while we drive and the rest of the children came right in with their own desires of exactly which one they wanted to hold. New Moon Deer Park Leo was on holiday today which left four children. I wanted us to go to Deer park and explore up the creek a bit. Before we even left we sang our Welcoming song led by, as of late, WoHe the Orangutang. There was talk about the Moon calendar that is up in the bus now and a lot of figuring out who would get what stuffy. When this was all figured out off we went on our short ride to the park. Waning Gibbeous Moon Lake Lagunitas Today was a gloriously warm, sunny and beautiful day. The children were alive and filled with enthusiasm and openness. We hopped on the bus, sang our welcoming songs led by WoHe, the stuffed Orangutang, described jobs to Simone and off we went. She had a choice to be a Guardian of Safety with Sidona or the Guardian of Directions with Lenny. Well, it was pretty easy to know which she would choose, yes, Guardian of Safety.
